"Lago di Lago" is a video showing a group of young men in the village Lago, in Treviso, Italy, mounting a cinema-screen for the villages yearly film festival "Lago Film-fest". Lago means lake in Italian and Lago is also the name of the village. "Lago di Lago" can be translated to "lake of the lake".

The main-screen of the film-fest is always mounted in the lake of Lago. The people living in the village are involved in everything of the festival, from putting up all the screens, making cakes to the food-stands, selling tickets and sort out the car-parks for all arriving people. Many of the young people who have left Lago for studies or work, return to the village to work during the festival every year.

This video was made during a residency I did at the film-festival in 2007, the video was shown site-specific at the big screen in the lake at the film-festival of 2008.
